  • Why do I need to attend antenatal classes?
Antenatal classes may not be compulsory, but they are definitely beneficial to providing hands-on experiences. The opportunity to ask any questions to clarify your doubts eases your anxieties, while preparing you for childbirth and parenthood. Also, these classes give you the opportunity to meet fellow parents-to-be who are going through the same experience as you - offering a good peer-support system.
  • When is the best time to attend the classes?
We recommend parents to enrol anytime after 12 weeks of pregnancy. Some moms prefer to attend in the 2nd trimester where they feel less tired, have more energy and are more mobile. However, some moms choose to attend in the 3rd trimester, as they prefer for the knowledge to be fresh as they approach the birth of their baby. It all boils down to individual preferences. 🤗
  • Who are the people behind the articles written on your webpage?
We have a small team of mothers who source for important nuggets of information which we feel will be beneficial for other mothers out there, and put it together into content which you see. Essentially, these are written by mothers for mothers.
  • What is the difference between the Newborn Caregiver Course and the New Parents Crash Course?
The Newborn Caregiver Course is focused pre-dominantly on practical hands-on. It is conducted in a small group setting, mimicking a home environment. This is the most common habitat for a baby, and we want to deliver the course content in a relatable and easy to understand manner. The class size is also kept small at a maximum of 6 attendees. It is designed largely for caregivers of the baby, like new parents, domestic helpers and grandparents. Every course participant will undergo practical hands-on under the supervision of our instructors. The class is also kept small at a maximum of 6 participants per session in order to ensure maximum takeaway for every attendee. The New Parents Crash Course on other hand, is designed for expecting parents. It is conducted in a classroom setting, with practical hands on also being a segment of the course. It will touch on labour and breastfeeding in more detail, which is more relevant to the expecting mom and dad.
