Newborn Caregiver Course

Introducing our comprehensive newborn caregiver course! Designed for new parents, domestic helpers, grandparents, or anyone stepping into the role of a baby caregiver, this course is your ultimate guide to providing optimal care for newborns.

In this extremely hands-on small group program, you'll gain invaluable knowledge and practical skills to navigate the beautiful journey of caring for a baby. Our experienced instructors will cover a wide range of topics in a small group setting, mimicking a home environment, ensuring you feel confident and well-prepared as we walk you through every step with practical demonstrations.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

If you are a new parent expecting your firstborn, and are absolutely clueless about how to care for your baby on his or her arrival….

If you will be entrusting the care of your baby to a grandparent, or a grandparent-in-law, but you are unsure if the standards of care from years ago vis-a-vis today matches up….

If you will be hiring a domestic helper for the caregiving of your newborn, and you’re uncertain and apprehensive about how well they really know how to care for a baby….

Or basically, anybody who just needs a refresher on newborn caregiving!

HOW IS THE COURSE CONDUCTED?

The course is held in a small group setting, mimicking a home environment. This is the most common habitat of a baby, and we want to deliver the course content in a practical and relatable way.

Every course participant will undergo practical hands-on under the supervision of our instructors. The class is also kept small at a maximum of 8 participants per session in order to ensure maximum takeaway for every attendee.

About our Instructor

Hi, I am Sheryl.

I'm a Mother of 3, and also a certified Breastfeeding Counsellor. I am extremely passionate about empowering Mothers, and young families with knowledge so that new moms can avoid how lost and alone I felt, when I first became a mom myself. Under the mentorship and tutelage of Sister Teresa who imparted the best practices at hospitals, I am honoured to have learnt so much from her since 2019, when My First Love first started.

Being a mom of 3 young kids, a full-time working mother, as well as one who needs to deploy domestic help at home, I understand the woes, worries and concerns of the modern working mom about leaving our babies to alternative care.
